Vente

As a UI/UX designer, I was asked to design an app to help people find local events, meet-ups and group activities that are personalised to the user.
Our objective for this project is to design a clear intuitive interface, brand identity and responsive website

 approach

For this project, we applied the Double Diamond design framework. The two diamonds represent a process of exploring an issue more widely or deeply (Divergent thinking) and then taking focused action (Convergent thinking)

persona

Our UX team has provided a persona which helped us to decide on what features are most important to this app.

 define

 Original wireframes

I have started analysing the original wireframes which were provided by our UX teams to understand the flow of the app

 develop

 Moodboards

At this stage, I have developed different mood boards to get right colours

 logo

Based on the research, I have started exploring different logo designs. For this I have defined brand adjectives which are Energetic, Friendly and Sociable. These are some of initial sketches

I finally converge into this design. The thinking behind the use of hot air balloon is to signify that a person with a high vantage point can clearly observe the places of interest with freedom. The hot air balloon show the free spirit, which indicated that a person can go where they wanted to go without any hassle

 deliver

 high-fidelity screens

Once I have all our findings I have created final High-fidelity screens
